NEW WOODLAND
CREATIONS
At Mark Seed Forest and Land we plan, design and plant new woodlands every year.
We deal with all manor of sites from large scale conifer plantations through to mixed broadleaf, mixed conifer, native species and small scale farm woodland creations.
We cover every aspect of a new woodland creation in house from applications and planning to site preparation, planting, restocking and maintenance.
Furthermore we guarantee your new plantation is constantly maintained and restocked for several years to come until fully established.

At Mark Seed Forest and Land we have a dedicated team that provides all planting requirements for our clients. This team is directly employed by Mark Seed Forestry and Land which ensures continuity of service for all our clients woodlands.

The team provides the following services tree planting, restocking, chemical weeding, hand weeding, respacing, scrub cutting, path mowing, high pruning, estate maintenance and more.

Our squad are based in the Scottish borders however can work remotely and travel for jobs.

At Mark Seed Forest and Land we have a full list of approved contractors and suppliers which provide cost effective, timely and consistently professional work and tree supplies.

WILDLIFE
MANAGEMENT
Wildlife management is essential for landowners especially when establishing forestry. New woodland creation are particularly vulnerable to harm from animals.

At Mark Seed Forestry and Land we prevent and control Deer, Hare, Rabbits and Weevil damage.
​
We also provide night shooting, out of season shooting and can apply for licensing applications for our clients.
